My latest styled shoot took place at one my favorite venues, Shadow Creek, in Purcellville, Virginia. With beautiful rolling hills, and cows peacefully grazing it is an idyllic backdrop.

Cameron of Well Dunn Catering and I collaborated on the idea of an amazing brunch spread paired with bright blooms and accents of black and white toile. Well Dunn delivered with a mimosa bar, bloody mary bar with all the fixin’s, gorgeous pies, and a grits and biscuit bar among other brunch delights.

Dana of Della Blooms created a spectacular floral moon gate for the ceremony backdrop and a stunner of a bridal bouquet with bright blooms accented with ribbon from Torn & Tied.

Oh the details, you slay me!

Stunning canary diamonds from Boone and Sons Jewelers, calligraphy menu signs on acrylic with handcrafted copper stands by Leah Letters, live painting by Brittany Branson, toile napkins and velvet linens from Party Rental Ltd, a sweet welcome basket by the Welcoming District, buttercream cake by Catherine George Cakes, and a darling invitation suite from Little Bit Heart which pulled the colors and toile together.

Our Charleston, South Carolina friends also took part in this shoot with vow books from recycled and sustainable materials by Raw City Paper and my favorite bowtie makers, Brackish supplied the groom with the handcrafted feather bowtie.

My ladies of Something Blu Beauty always bring their A game giving our bride a romantic low chignon complemented with soft makeup. The bride’s gown from Couture by Posh Bridal was a simple and classic gown perfect for a brunch wedding.

Real life married couple Maria & Tim were perfect models and their chemistry was so sweet. I’m sure their little girls are going to be wanting a pony after seeing their parents hang out with Gus, Shadow Creek’s palomino gelding.
