I have previously shared Megan and James’ engagement photos at Mount Vernon, and I am so excited to share their wonderful wedding photos from Photo Art by Lu.
James and Megan met at a party that James was hesitant to attend but his mother persuaded him to do so ( thanks Toni! ) . It wasn’t too long after that Megan declared to her mother that she had found her husband.
Megan wanted a fairy tale wedding complete with a beautiful ballroom, a ball gown with a hint of blush, and of course her handsome groom. Other Cinderella touches were chocolate mice favors, real pumpkins and illustrated ones on her invitations and programs, and a carriage card box. The magic wasn’t just in her happily ever after themed wedding but also in special touches such as lace swatches from both mother’s wedding dresses sewn into Megan’s gown, the bride’s mother’s wedding gown being transformed into a short flirty after party dress for Megan’s exit, the groom’s favorite pizza was delivered at the end of the night, and a tupelo honey signature drink bar which was perfect since the couple’s first dance was to Van Morrison’s Tupelo Honey.
A huge thank you to Photo Art by Lu for the pictures!
